Waqt is a companion app that runs on your iPhone. Here is what flows where, in plain words.
Your settings, your prayer-time preferences, and any “I did this” markers stay on your device. Waqt does not maintain a server-side profile of you.
To choose the one thing to suggest right now, Waqt sends a small, anonymized snapshot to Anthropic's Claude API. The snapshot contains:
Waqt does notsend your name, your email, your location, your contacts, your phone identifiers, or any free-form text you have entered into the app. Anthropic's own privacy policy applies to data sent to their API: anthropic.com/privacy.
We do not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not maintain user accounts. There is no signup.
Like any iOS app, Waqt is subject to Apple's App Store privacy framework, and to Apple's system-level privacy reporting.
Waqt is not directed at children under 13.
If we ever change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
